The Process to Add a Sunstone Ridgeback to Your Home

Like all preservation breeders, I want to make sure that my puppies join homes that love the breed and provide a good environment for their entire life.  There is an application process made up of 3 steps:

1) a completed application form to get basic information (contact me for the application)

2) a phone call to discuss the breed, my dogs, and what bringing a Ridgeback into your life entails

3) if possible, a visit here at my home where I can meet you plus anyone in your household; and, you get to meet me and my dogs to make sure that this is a good fit.

Once there is mutual agreement that we will move forward, a deposit is required to hold a puppy.

The same process applies to my waitlist.  For wait listed puppies, the deposit will be returned in full if no suitable puppy is available within 18 months.   Deposit is $500 and applies to total purchase price of $3,000.

Unfortunately, animals do not stick to an arranged schedule.  All my dogs must be 2 years old minimum before their health tests can be completed.  After that, everything relies on their cycles.

It is impossible to have puppies available when your kids go on school break or the weather warms up.  Mother Nature rules all!
